     Soldering is one the skills needed to complete many tasks in model railroading.  Proper soldering is not difficult and does not require expensive equipment.  Some basic preparation and care will yield good results.  Add a bit of practice and you will find soldering to be easy and rewarding!  No longer will you shy away from a project because you "don't know how" to solder!

    Join us for this hands-on class.  We will lead you through a simple and straight forward process that will bolster your confidence and expand your arsenal of skills!

Attendees may wish to bring any of the following to class.  These items may enhance your class time:

Safety Glasses (we will supply basic goggles or glasses if you do not have a pair)

Soldering Iron or Gun  (we will have a selection of irons available but you may prefer to practice with you own tool)

Work Apron

Optivisor or other Wearable Magifier (we will have a limited number for use in class)
