Winter  2007 - 2008

     December is here and with it came the colder weather...right on cue!  That makes it perfect weather to get some of those modeling projects tackled!

    Our first evening class was run near the end of November.  This class on soldering was a good start to what we plan on being a continual offering of after-hours classes.  If you missed our class "Men of Iron", don't dispair, we will run it once again after the Holidays!   We are now also looking into a class on airbrushing for modelers.  This will be another after-store-hours hands-on class.  There will be some cost involved but we will keep it reasonable.  You are encouraged to drag out that airbrush you bought, or received as a gift, long ago, dust it off, put on your "I know I can do it" ball cap, and join us for some helpful tips and a lot of fun!

     We continue to receive many back issues of all those favorite magazines.  Model Railroader, Railroad Model Craftsman, Model Railroading, Trains...the list goes on.  If you are searching for back issues, check in often as the selection literally changes by the week!  We receive a lot of collections and we SELL a lot of back issues.

    Speaking of pre-owned and such, we have a nice selection of used HO equipment in right now.  Quite a few collections and boxes of used arrived here over the summer.  We have succeded in getting most of this onto the store shelves and into the showcases.  We even have a few older (not really, really old) Varney pieces.

    The Clinic Series has begun once again and we have some new ones planned to add to you modeling enjoyment.  Watch the NEWS and CLINICS sections for the latest updates.
