     Welcome to the SS&S Operations Center.  Operations for Sandyhook Spruce & Southern ( SDY Ry ) associated railroads are listed on their individual pages.  Crews are called by invitation only as there are space restrictions at all of the railroads.  Our Crew Caller Office sends out an email "calls" to our crews.  The email will specify date, time and location of the upcoming operating session.

We are pleased to have guests visit with us.  However, as the railroads are in homes, Please respect the individual railroads' owners;

• Smoking is NOT permitted.
• You should expect to be running trains.  There is little room for gawkers!
• If you are new to operation, an experienced crew person will work with you ( you will have fun HONEST!) 
• As a general rule, children should not be brought along since you will be busy with the operating session.
• There are some exceptions to this as we have some younger operators who are quite good!
