DCC - Introduction

     DCC or Digital Command Control to be totally proper,  certainly gets a lot of attention today.  And, with good reason.  What more can we say that hasn't already been said?

     For those new to the hobby...and for those who have been modeling for a number of years and are now considering installing DCC on their railroad, we have a few words of encouragement.  There have been many articles written on DCC.  There are lots of products out there that will enhance a DCC system.  With all of the information, and at times, over-information, the thought of employing DCC on your own railroad may seem over whelming.  But, rest assured, DCC will make your railroad easier to operate.  DCC will add a whole new dimension of fun and excitement!  And, DCC is truly easier to install than a typical DC control system!

     DCC can be complicated.  But, and maybe we should put that in capitals...BUT, DCC does not have to be complicated!  Today's systems are very flexible.  They will allow you to enjoy the benefits of digital control from a basic level all the way up to something much more complex.  The choice is yours!

     We encourage you to try DCC.  You will soon see how much more fun your railroad can be!
