August 2008

    Although we technically have shortened hours in the summer, we have kept the hobby store open on Mondays and Wednesdays this summer.  Liz was available to "man" the counter and simply let the shop be open.  If you have taken advantage of this please be aware that we will be closing early on Monday August 11th and Wednesday August 13th.  On those two days the store will be open 10am til 3pm only.

The Bill Brown Collection

   We have a few more pieces from the Bill's collection on display.  We found a place to hang several lanterns (all PRR) and there are two or three HO brass locomotives in the case at this time.

Pre-Owned and Collections

    Several customers brought collections of older HO equipment into the store just before the Spring Fling.  We sold a lot of those pieces during the open house but there is still quite a bit of pre-owned and vintage HO to browse.  Of note is a large box of HO TruScale Ready Track.  The box has plenty of curve in various radius and many turnouts!  If you are looking for this rare find, call or stop in,
